Grateful Leaves

A quick post today...some Fall leaves...
Layered the leaf borders four times and placed the die cut patterned papers into the die cut borders (the paper is from an older 6 x 6 set of Fall papers from Basic Grey...Indian Summer (press on the colored words to find some for sale on ebay if you're interested:)!)...love the leaf patterns and colors!!)...
The sentiment is from a new set from Simon Says Stamp:)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

On A Birthday Roll!

This card was my 1st attempt at a card for the CAS(E) this Sketch #94 challenge...I entered my 2nd and 3rd attempts...I know...three cards for one challenge kinda crazy?!...I DID say this was an amazing fun sketch, right...with endless possibilities...BUT...I thought the card was kind of cute, so I'm posting it just 'cause I think it's cute:)!!...
Here's the sketch, too:
I hand stamped the polka dotted paper, punched the flowers (EK Success...LOVE this little flower!!), layered, and used an enamel dot for their centers.  The stem is a Rubber Soul stamp (have had for YEARS, but continues to be one of my favorite go-to stem stamps!).   The sentiment, by Stampotique, was stamped on vellum, embossed, and has 2 glue dots to hold it in place, with 2 enamel dots to cover the glue dots.  Here's a close up...
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Love•Peace•Joy

I used the new Simon Says Stamp Winter Trees die to make a Christmas card...
I die cut the trees 3 times in white, and adhered them together.  I used a versamark pad and dabbed it on the adhered trees and then silver embossed the trees...then versamarked and embossed another time for some real shine.  Used a piece from a green die cut set of trees, die cut a heart out of it.  I stamped the sentiment and silver embossed...did not use silver paper for the trees...wanted the silvers to match.  Here's a close up ( I DO like the green paper textured...dimension)...
Yes...loving silver embossing powder...loving these trees:):)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

CAS(E) this Sketch 94... Happy Birthday

Today's post has yet another entry for the CAS(E) this Sketch's challenge this week...did I say that this sketch was amazing fun??....yeah, it is!!   Here's my card and the sketch...

I used the same stamp I used for my LAST card, masking and using the star's stems for the balloon strings...I KNOW...I could have hand drawn them...but I'm not very good at that, so this was perfect!!  I stamped  them with Simon Says Stamp Fog colored ink and after die cutting the balloons (these cute Lil' Inker balloons were stitched and small...LOVE), I sponged them with ink.  The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink!  I don't think this is the last you'll be seeing of this sketch:)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

The Cutting Edge Challenge #11...A Card for Baby Mercy

It's time for challenge # 11 at The Cutting Edge!!   This week's inspiration card is a fun one, made by Melania!!
The challenge...to use Melania's card for your inspiration and create a card that includes die cutting (all forms accepted).  There’s so much about this project to be inspired by!!  Here’s what I created:
I really chose all the elements of Melania's card...loved them all...thought it so cool that the elephant I used even had a heart on his ear...Melania's camera had a heart in the center of it's lens...ok...cool!!  The card was made for my son-in-law's brother's baby coming in November...her name will be Mercy and the colors of her nursery are mint and coral with lots of elephants...so all the elements of the card are made for HER (but you could easily personalize this with another name and colors!):)!! Here's a close up...
Thank you, Melania, for the inspiration...had SO MUCH FUN!!!
